Ebonite Big Time Special Edition
Whenever PBA star Tommy Jones is asked to reveal his all-time favorite bowling ball, he consistently singles out the Ebonite Big Time. Tommy's unforgettable performance with the Big Time on national television left a lasting impression on countless bowlers, and Ebonite believes it's high time to reintroduce this cherished gem into Tommy's arsenal. The Ebonite Big Time Special Edition retains the iconic core shape and color scheme of the original, making it an instant classic and a go-to benchmark ball. While the colors remain faithful to the original, we've given the cover a modern update with HK22 and GB 13.7 additives. This throwback offering seamlessly complements Ebonite's current lineup, delivering a symmetrical pearl with a matte finish that excels on medium to heavy oil conditions. It's the ideal choice for bowlers seeking an earlier and more powerful mid-lane reaction than what the Emerge or GB4 Hybrid can provide.

Big Time is Back with HK 22
The new Ebonite Big Time is back, this time with HK22 additive. The Big Time pearl comes sanded at 1500 and revs up quickly in the fronts, however with the HK22 it still hooks a lot on the back end. I use this ball on medium to heavier volume patterns. I left it at box finish, but you can add some polish if you need to. This is the hardest hitting sanded Pearl that I have ever thrown. Glad to have the BIG TIME back!

BIG TIME
The big time se is a symmetrical pearl ball that comes sanded at 1500. Even though this ball takes surface adjustments really well and a lot of people are polishing it like the original I’ve been happy with the benchmark motion it gives me out of box. The addition of hk22 allows this ball to read the midlane without getting lost in the oil with your misses inside. If you need a benchmark ball option out of the ebonite line this is the one to grab.

I'm telling you, this is a good ball !
Big Time SE is Ebonite's latest release. It's a symmetrical pearl with a dull finish with HK22 coverstock base material, finished at 500/1000/1500 siaair micro pad.
What I see out of the ball is a benchmark type ball, it's versatile, and it takes surface adjustments really good. For me, I like it at 1000.It picks up a little sooner without loosing energy, keeping that continuation exiting the pins.
I'll leave you with this quote from Bob Newman, "I'm telling you, this is a good ball".

Ebonite Big Time SE
I like that Ebonite did something different and put out a pearl cover ball without shining it up. How many times do we get a pearl ball and end up taking off the polish or compound anyway? I've seen several reviews where people were making them shiny, but I think this ball rolls well just the way it is. It picks up earlier than most Pearls and has a smoother motion but isn't that what you want to control the back ends on most patterns? Joey Tribiani once said, “I like it. What’s not to like? Custard? Good. Jam? Good. Meat? Good.” Well I say, "Smooth? Good. Surface? Good. Strikes? Good. I like it."

The Big Time SE is back!
The big time my first impression, this will be a good benchmark. Then I added compound to it and it really came alive. The HK 22 really complemented the ball with the compound. I didn’t see any early hook. I was very clean through the front really strong, continuous motion on the back in.
