EVO HYBRID!!

Phenomenal piece to add to the bag. Great fit between the solid and the pearl. For me the motion is pretty angular down lane. Very unique for a cover that has a good amount of surface. Layout chosen was 50X4.5X40. This ball has given me so much room for error. Good on patterns with volume. Very forgiving for strong piece. This is a must add to the bag.

Highly Recommend!

I am a huge fan of the Quantum Evo line and the Hyrbid does not disappoint! The majority of my equipment goes long, but the Hybrid reads the lane a little early, has a nice smooth motion and rolls through the pins with a vengeance! You will NOT be disappointed with this purchase.

COMMENTS

The Quantum Evo Hybrid is an earlier rolling version of the previous released Quantum Evo Pearl. This one has a different version of the EVO core combined with a newer cover formulation. It fits in right between the Quantum Evo Solid and Pearl. The Quantum Evo Hybrid has good traction in the oil and is very responsive down lane without being too early. This one is going to be a great ball for those bowling on medium to heavier volumes and or those with higher ball speed. This one should be the most popular of the EVOs. If your looking for an angular ball that reacts well on oilier lanes check out the Quantum EVO Hybrid.

PERFECT MIX

This ball sees a pattern very well. It blend out wet/dry well, with a strong midlane and slows down downlane. My first impressions of this ball was that it’s going to be used a lot for me as the first ball out my bag on house shots. If you’re starting league soon, make sure to grab this one!

Greatness Continued!

The Brunswick Quantum is synonymous with bowling ball greatness and since the launch of the new Quantum Evo Line, the bowling industry is once again introduced to bowling ball greatness. The new Brunswick Quantum Evo Hybrid is an incredible addition to the already successful Quantum Evo line. The new Quantum Evo Hybrid is the perfect blend of continuous ball motion and hitting power. This ball gives you a bit more length than the original Quantum Evo Solid, but retains its energy and incredible hitting power. As a hybrid fan, this ball performs as most hybrids do…VERY predictable and controllable. The Quantum Evo Hybrid is drilled just above the ring finger to allow the ball to give me just a little more length and store its energy better, so when the ball hits friction, it makes a strong continuous move through the pins. This ball is the perfect fit into the Evo line and is a great fit for any league or tournament bowler. The new Quantum Evo Hybrid is a definite must have in your bag.

Brunswick Evo Hybrid

The Brunswick Evo Hybrid not only looks great with the combination of Light Blue, Lime Green, & Silver rolling down the lane, it also does some serious damage to the pins. For me it picks up in the mid lane but still has a strong angular motion down lane. It really is the definition of a Hybrid. I drilled mine at 50 x 3-1/2 x 20 and in the short time I've had it, it really looks like a winner.

Question:

I need a ball similar to the Brunswick cutting edge, would this work, or are ther better options that are more similar to the cutting edge?

Answer:

Hi Samuel, the Quantum Evo Hybrid would be more aggressive than the Brunswick Cutting Edge Hybrid. I would recommend the Storm Hy-Road or Hammer Scorpion which are similar to the Cutting Edge Hybrid.

Question:

Answer:

For the most part each brand is going to have different performance levels and different bowling balls that can cover most bowlers so there is not a real advantage from one brand to another. Brunswick is actually over the Hammer brand also so they are part of the same larger company at the time of this release. If you are looking for one bowling ball that can be versatile and cover a lot of conditions you may want to find something that can handle well in medium oil conditions. If you are rev dominant you may check for bowling balls that give you good length like a pearl covestock or ball with a polished finish. If you are speed dominant then you may look for a solid coverstock ball or something with a duller finish.
